Monica Förster

Monica Förster is one of Sweden’s most celebrated contemporary designers, known for her pure forms, curiosity for new materials, and cross-disciplinary approach. Her work redefines traditions in industrial, furniture, and product design, always with an eye toward creating timeless yet innovative pieces.

Internationally recognized, she has received the Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Award and the Good Design Award in the USA, the Best Domestic Design Award from Wallpaper in the UK, and many other honors. In Sweden, she stands out as the only designer to be named Designer of the Year five times.

Her first collaboration with Orrefors is the Reed collection, a series of elegant vases in beautiful colors, destined to become future classics.
