Åsa Jungnelius

Åsa Jungnelius

Åsa Jungnelius (Crackle Collection) is a Swedish contemporary artist known for her work in glass, ceramics, and large-scale public art. Trained as a glassblower at Kosta Boda in her teens, she later earned a Master’s degree in ceramics and glass. Since the early 2000s, Jungnelius has exhibited widely in Sweden and internationally, leading her own art projects and studios. Her early glass works brought her breakthrough recognition, and she has since become one of Sweden’s foremost artists in the field. Since 2007, she has been a permanent artist with Kosta Boda, continuing to explore expressive, innovative forms through her Crackle Collection and beyond.
