Hanna Hansdotter

Hanna Hansdotter, born in 1984 in Lund, is a Swedish artist and designer celebrated for her bold, sculptural glass creations that merge brutalist strength with baroque ornamentation. Drawn to glass for its physical, hands-on nature, she trained at Kosta Glascenter and Riksglasskolan in Orrefors. Since 2016, she has collaborated with Kosta Boda, creating both functional objects and exclusive art pieces. Her Rocky Baroque collection has become a standout, admired for its dramatic fusion of form and ornament. Hansdotter’s work has been showcased in leading galleries worldwide and belongs to prestigious collections such as the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and institutions in Oslo, securing her place as one of today’s most distinctive voices in contemporary glass art.
