Anne Nilsson

Anne Nilsson born in 1953, is celebrated for her ability to blend simple, elegant design with functionality, making her one of Sweden’s most significant glass designers. Her creations often feature clean, understated forms that bring beauty to everyday life.

Nilsson studied glass and ceramics at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) from 1973 to 1978 and further honed her craft at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Through her work, including the Raspberry and Pagod collections, she demonstrates a mastery of glass artistry, combining clarity, refinement, and practical design in pieces that are both visually striking and highly functional.
